Gumi is a city in the midwestern part of Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea. It is famous for being the birthplace of former President Park Chung Hee, who achieved remarkable economic development in Korea.

I visited Geumosan Provincial Park, a 20-minute walk from Gumi Station.

채미정 (Chae Mi Jung) - Korea's scenic scenic spot 52

Chae Mi-jung is Korea's scenic scenic spot 52.
Chae Mi-jung is a sperm built under 44 Mountain Kuemo in 1768 to commemorate the integrity and scholarship of Ya Eun Gil-jae (1353 ~ 1419).

Chaemijeong is a scenic spot with beautiful scenery where Geumosan overlooked, clear streams in front of

Chaemijeong, and trees blend with Chaemijeong.

Daehye Falls

If you go up about 100 meters from Haeunsa Temple, there is Daehye Falls. It was a little disappointing because the waterfall stem was weak due to no rain.

Autumn weather in Korea was dry, so the waterfall looked like a pee.

Geumosan Peak from Chaemijeong

The view looks very good with the landscape of Geumosan and finely colored autumn leaves seen from the Chaemijeong Maru at the entrance of Geumosan Provincial Park.

At the entrance stairs of Hyeeunsa Daeungjeon ....

Pode image famous for its famous monks(iron)

The statue in front of Haeunsa Daeungjeon is humorous.

Geumsan Fortress East Gate and the Interior

If you want to feel like you're in the background of an oriental fairy tale or legendary story, I recommend it.

The road is well built, it takes about 20~30 minutes by foot to wear comfortable shoes and there is a cable car. It costs 8,000 won for a round trip and 5,000 won for a one-way trip.

Here is the link of the place with using Google map and Kakao.
